Olga Lipina is the Minister of Music and Arts In this role, Olga oversees music and arts for services at Old West. She integrates practical involvement in the life of the congregation with theological and theoretical exploration of the arts.
Olga received a Master of Arts in Conducting and the Choral Arts from the Latvia Conservatory of Music in Riga, Latvia, and a Master of Sacred Music, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Sacred Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Boston University School of Theology. Her dissertation, “The Role of Arts in the Process of Leadership Formation and Ecclesial Transformation,” demonstrates that art, as an expression of faith, can bring renewal to religious communities and lead them through a process of holistic transformation.
