The Rev. Kyle Walden

Kyle Walden is the Discipleship Pastor of the Union Combined Parish. In this role, Kyle cares for the faith formation and relational connections of the congregation. He teaches, preaches, and provides pastoral care while overseeing the development of small group ministries and nurturing others’ calls to ministry. He is passionate about the church living into Christ’s vision of the Kin-dom, being the place where we practice personal and social holiness, and live in radical solidarity with each other across social barriers.

Ordained in 2023, Kyle is an elder in full connection with the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Kyle earned a Master of Divinity from the Boston University School of Theology in 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. While in Austin, he served a year with Americorp.

In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing music, binge watching “The West Wing,” and spending quality time with his partner Angie and their family.
