Min. J.J. Martinez

Juan Josue “J.J.” Martinez is the Minister of Creative Engagement of the Union Combined Parish. J.J. supports the pastoral team in developing design, marketing, and communications strategy, and continues his training to be a pastor as a candidate for ministry.  

J.J. is working through the certified candidacy process in the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church. He also works as the Assistant Director for Administration of the Raíces Latinas Program in Theology, Leadership, and Research at the Boston University School of Theology.

J.J. earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2020, graduating summa cum laude, and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Boston University School of Theology.

In his free time, J.J. enjoys playing the piano and shamefully watching “The Bachelor” franchise.
