Worship at Old West Church is centered around the Holy Communion Table, meaning it is contemplative and shaped by hymns and liturgy.
There is no dress code—come as you are!
Worship is about 45 minutes long and in person only.
Holy Communion
At Old West Church, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion every Sunday of the month. We use gluten-free bread and grape juice.

The Union Combined Parish is a church of the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church. We are part of the Reconciling Ministries Network, dedicated to the full participation of LGBTQ+ people in the life and leadership of our congregation and denomination.
How can I get to Old West Church?
We recommend traveling by the MBTA to get to Old West Church. By subway, the Charles/MGH stop on the Red Line and the Government Center stop on the Green Line are less than a ten minute walk away from Union Church. Use the MBTA's Trip Planner to plan your trip. Is parking available?

Is childcare available?
No, but there is a children's area in the Sanctuary.
Is the building accessible?
There is an accessible ramp at the Stanford St. gate. There is no accessible lift indoors, and the all-gender bathrooms are downstairs in the basement. We are working hard to make the building more accessible for all persons.
