CloseRev. Prof. Peter Storey - April 24, 2022
Letter to Us All from a Philippian Jail
We were thrilled to have Rev. Professor Peter Storey preach this Second Sunday of Easter. Leaning on his experience in ministry and justice work, Rev. Prof. Storey speaks directly and thoughtfully about what it means to truly follow Jesus in a greedy and violent America and world today. Rev. Prof. Peter Storey was chaplain to the imprisoned Nelson Mandela. He was also a former Methodist Bishop of Southern Africa who played an important role in anti-apartheid activism and has continued important justice work in South African and around the world in his 40+ years of ministry. Scripture reference: John 20:19-23 and Acts 16:16-34
