Glendale Methodist House

In March 2023, when the former Glendale United Methodist Church voted to merge with Union, one of the dreams of the legacy congregation was to see the parsonage to be used as an active ministry site. In fall of 2023, Union went to work renovating the parsonage to prepare it for future residents in need of affordable housing.

In February 2024, the Glendale Methodist House opened as Union’s third intentional living community for seminary students at in Boston. This ministry provides not only affordable housing but also a place of vocational discernment and mutual support as graduate students complete their theological education.
