The Reverend Nikki Reneé is the Union Combined Parish’s inaugural Preacher-in-Residence. In this role, Nikki preaches once a month, supports others in their own prophetic preaching, and contributes to worship design.
Nikki is an ordained elder in full connection in the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church. She was previously Union’s assistant pastor, minister of worship and discipleship, and, during seminary, student minister.
Nikki earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Divinity from the Boston University School of Theology. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Practical Theology at the School, incorporating her preaching, trauma, and feminist/womanist theologies into her work at Union.
