Welcome to Union

Union is a progressive, multicultural faith community in Boston with a 200-year history and commitment to Christian love, social justice, and radical hospitality.

We are a family of believers from all walks of life: black and brown, white, Latino, Asian, and indigenous …young and more seasoned …economically stable and struggling …transgender and cisgender …differently-abled, physically challenged…straight, gay, lesbian, queer, allies… lifetime Christians, new beginners, skeptics, and seekers…

…whoever you are, whatever your story, you are welcome!

What To Expect

Attending a church service for the first time can be a nervous experience. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about Union and our services.

How long is the service?

Our 8am Sunday Worship service lasts about 60 minutes. Our 11am Sunday Worship service lasts about 90 minutes. When we have a single combined 10am service (over the summer from June to Labor Day), it lasts about 90 minutes.

What should I wear?

Some of our attendees wear jeans and a shirt and others wear ties, suits, or dresses (either out of personal preference or while participating on a Sunday team). You are welcome to come to Union as you are.

How do I get to Union and where can I park?
