Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees supervises and maintains all of our property including our wonderful and historic building.

What is the Board of Trustees?

Working closely with the Church Council, the Trustees are responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and supervision of all property belonging to Union (church building, church van, etc). Their efforts continually facilitate Union’s ministries, committees, and programs by ensuring safe and orderly usage of Union property.

How can I get involved?

The members of the Board of Trustees are elected by the annual charge conference to serve a term of up to three years. The board consists of 3-9 members with representation from the laywomen, the laymen, and the members of Union. Additionally, non-Union members who are connected to our surrounding community are eligible to serve as a trustee. If you would like to serve as a trustee or have any questions or suggestions for the Trustees, please email us or speak to the Board of Trustees chairperson.

When does the Board of Trustees meet?

The Trustees meet on the third Monday of the month at 6:15p.
